Matured in American bourbon, Portuguese sherry and virgin oak casks, this Glenfiddich offering is a fine and enjoyable choice. 15 years spent ageing makes this a staple of the distillery and one which every drinks cabinet should be home to. The nose is rich with sherry, bright citrus notes and dried oak. Its flavour enhances these notes with raisins and sherry, evoking Christmas cake, complete with light spicing. Oak lingers and takes centre stage as the end note fades.
A 12-year-old single malt from Glentturet's 2021 Release, matured in European oak casks for more than a decade, creating notes of orange, apricot, oak spice and vanilla throughout the palate.
Classic, crisp, dry white wine with a delicate aroma of fresh cut hay and stone fruit. Served chilled and accompanies fish, poultry, salads and light snacks.
The Fine White is a slightly sweeter blend than the Extra Dry. This is achieved by fermenting the grape must for a slightly shorter time to preserve the natural sugars in the fruit, which give the Fine White its flavours of honey and nectar and its slightly richer amber hue. It has sweet citrus characteristics and maintains a good balance of freshness and delicacy. It should be served chilled, between 6 and 10º Celsius.
