Maraschino Luxardo is a classic Italian liqueur and is presented in it's traditional way, rafia covered bottle and all. The clear hues hide a flavour which is simply bursting with maraska cherries and a typically pungent aroma in which the cherries seem to invite you to take that first sip. Smooth on the palate initially, leading into a sharpness which is short lived but satisfying. It’s the aroma of this one which will have you back for another sip, lingering long after tasting.

Producer/négociant Maison Albert Bichot was founded in Beaune in 1831 and remains family-owned, with Albéric Bichot currently at the helm. Despite being a significant player in Burgundy (it’s the leading buyer at the celebrated Hospices de Beaune auction), Maison AB leads the way in sustainability and manages to maintain the ethos and accessibility of a much smaller artisanal grower.

Located in the southern Beaujolais, Brouilly is one of the most well-known and geographically widespread vineyards in the region. The vines here flourish on a steep slope composed of diverse types of soil and rock, but which are predominantly pink granite ("gohr") based. TASTING This Brouilly Roche Rose has subtle aromas of wild cherry, blackcurrant, and blackberry with a hint of spice. The palate is refreshing and fleshy with supple, well-integrated tannins, leading onto the finish with it is fresh and lasting Gamay fruit style ft tannins.

The smooth and light flavour of St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur has kept it popular for many years and has guaranteed that it’s known as one of the finest and first elderflower liqueurs out there. Lively and generous, Brut Imperial distinguishes itself by a bright fruitiness, a seductive palate and an elegant maturity, that continually seduce and delight. The colour is an elegant golden straw yellow with green highlights. Its aromas are radiant, revealing bright white-fleshed fruits (apple, pear, white peach), citrus fruits (lemon), floral nuances (lime blossom) and elegant blond notes (brioche and fresh nuts).

When crafted by a skilled producer, Chablis is worth the countless column inches and plaudits heaped on the region and its wines. And in this case, it’s crafted by the team at Albert Bichot, makers of fine Burgundy since 1831. Although the family have a proud heritage to look back to, they’re focussed firmly on the future. They practise sustainable agriculture, ever mindful of the legacy they leave for future generations. The care they exhibit in the vineyard follows through to the winery, which in turn shines through to the wine in your glass. This fine Chablis was aged on its lees for 10 months to add creamy complexity to this elegant, pure fruit white, brimming with green apple and citrus. It makes a fine apéritif or partner for seafood.
