Bright, deep red. Fresh, fruity aromas, where cherry and red forest fruit dominate, on a background of spices. Soft, with round tannins, good structure and balance. Medium body, with rich fruit and pleasant finish with a hint of bitter chocolate.

Bright, hay green. Very expressive nose with the aromas of rose, exotic fruit and peach in the foreground, and notes of freshly cut grass in the background. Pleasant and cool at first with very good volume and acidity. Plenty of fruit and fine finish. Food Pairing: Loves intensely aromatic dishes like the ones from India or northern Africa. Also a good match with Greek wild greens pies or salads with fruit and worth trying with traditional Greek meat and greens caseroles like pork with leek and celery.

Very deep red, solid, almost impenetrable. Typical varietal expression with the bouquet developing on many levels. Aromas of violets, berries, blackcurrant, olives, black pepper and chocolate on a discreet background of vanilla and toasted bread. Warm and generous, with soft tannins, dressed with plenty of fruit. Well structured and round with a persistent presence of spices in its long finish. Food Pairing: Lamb and goat in the oven, spicy meat dishes like lamb curry. Game, even boar, grilled steak, cooked red meats and mature yellow cheeses.

Bright, yellow-green colour Intense with vegetal and terpenic hints on a background of white flowers and white fleshed fruit. Round and full, with refreshing acidity and great freshness. Intense taste, with a long finish dominated by aromas of peach and apricot. Food Pairing: On its own as an aperitif or with green salads especially the ones with either aromatic herbs in their composition such as dill or fennel or fruit, like grapefruit, peach or apple, as well as soups with herbs. Great with mild creamy cheeses like manouri or brie.

KEFALONIA.....A bone-dry and intriguing wine with a heady mix of iodine, peaty aromas, exotic fresh fruit, melon and dried pear. Mouth-wateringly fresh on the palate with plenty of tension on the long finish. Vinified following a philosophy of minimal intervention. A cool pre-fermentation maceration lasted for eight to 10 hours to extract aromas and flavours. The free run musts and pressed musts were fermented separately with wild yeasts at controlled temperatures before spending one month on the fine lees with periodical stirring to impart texture and complexity. The wine was gently filtered prior to being bottled. The bottle was then submerged UNDER FRESH WATER, in special tanks in the winery. This new method of maturation promotes constant temperatures, darkness and lack of oxygen, resulting in an aromatic wine, with a pure fruit character. 91 points Robert Parker

Rich, warm red fruits on the nose with hints of dried herbs, this is a wine with a great sense of place and is one of the few reds that pairs brilliantly with cheese. Ageing in French oak barrels (20%) for 12 months adds spice and structure and the wine finishes with a fresh cherry note and light tannins, making you want another sip. "Vines planted in 1998 in the north-facing Kali Vrysi vineyard at 4,000 vines per ha and an elevation of 200–300 m. Picked 24 September at a yield of 36 hl/ha. Fermented in tank with malolactic conversion and ageing for 12 months in oak barrels (20% new).
