Cenote's citrusy, peppery tequila gets delicious vanilla notes in this Reposado, thanks to its three month spell in American oak barrels. This range of tequila is inspired by the spectacular underground freshwater pools in Mexico's Yucatan peninsula, known as Cenotes, which were regarded as sacred by the ancient Mayan people.

Don Julio Reposado Tequila is a 100% agave offering which spends eight months maturing in bourbon casks. It has a depth of flavour which is largely down to this maturation process and both almond and coconut notes come through alongside subtle spice and creamy vanilla in the nose. On tasting you’ll enjoy a biscuity depth with notes of sweet orchard fruits, cinnamon and white pepper which hangs around until the end.

El Jimador Reposado is made from mature blue agave and spends two months resting in American oak barrels. Golden hues escape from the bottle thanks to this process and the flavour mellow yet rich with toasted agave at the forefront. Olmeca Altos Reposado spends a little longer being aged than other Olmeca tequilas, with 18 months in 200 litre white American ex-bourbon casks. It retains a super sweet and fresh flavour with its aroma packed full of bright fruitiness, notes of strawberry and cherry. The woody smokiness from the casks is apparent and is brought out even further when you take a sip. Slightly sweet honey comes through alongside the smokiness and the aftertaste is long, powerful and memorable.

The third of Patrons triumvirate of exceptional tequilas, Patron Reposado has a complex and distinctive flavour profile. Smooth from the first sip, you can taste the smokiness of the oak used in the maturation process and light fresh agave also comes through quickly. Made using only the finest Tequila Mixto, Tequila Rancho Viejo is an Authentic Mexican Tequila, produced in Arandas, in the state of Jalisco. Only Blue Webber Agave is used in the production of this tequila and the resulting liquid is skillfully blended to produce a top quality Tequila mixto.

This delicious and moreish tequila has a rounded flavour that isn’t lacking in spice. Tapatio Reposado is robust without being overwhelming and mellow agave is supported by more prominent notes of sharp green apple and a trademark pepperiness this brand is known for. Produced and distilled in the heart of Tequila, Mexico, by Fabrica de Tequilas, this reposado was made with blue agave that was cooked in autoclaves using steam for 10 hours. A special yeast is then added to the agave juices before fermentation, which lasts as long as 72 hours before distillation. Rooster Rojo reposado is subsequently double pot distilled in stainless steel pot stills, before being 'rested' in oak. Water filtered through Mexican silver is added to blend the product down to a measured 38% ABV.

Batanga reposado Tequila is produced at the Casa Orendain, which was founded all the way back in 1926! It's distilled using 100% agave, harvested from the Orendain plantation and fermented with yeast which is locally produced at the distillery from a recipe which is over 80 years old. Batanga is named after the eponymous drink created in the 1950s, which is a simple recipe of Tequila, cola and lime juice. We're sure the Tequila itself wouldn't go amiss in one of those!

Casa Dragones Mizunara, a 100% Blue Agave Reposado sipping tequila, holds the distinction of being the inaugural tequila to be exclusively rested in mizunara. Mizunara is a unique and scarce Japanese oak, traditionally reserved for maturing Japanese whiskies. "Mizunara," which directly translates to "water oak," is known for its softer and more porous nature compared to other oaks.
