818 Tequila Reposado is one of the three tequilas of the 2021 best-selling tequila brand ‘818’ alongside 818 Tequila Blanco and 818 Tequila Añejo, founded by model, entrepreneur and ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star Kendall Jenner. The line was first released in the US in May 2021 and made available in the UK just a few months later due to it’s massive popularity and success. Kendall Jenner is known for expressing her love and passion for the agave spirit and has been working with some of the most esteemed family-owned and authentic tequila producers in Jalisco, Mexico to bring you the finest quality product possible - 818 Tequila Reposado. 818 Tequilas are manufactured using modern technology to ensure their consistency and high quality, yet sticking to traditional Mexican methods to retain all those aspects we love so much about tequila. Jenner has said that her 818 Tequila is ‘simply perfect’, and the multiple awards awarded to the 818 brand seem to back up that claim. The word ‘Reposado’ translates to ‘rested’. Whereas Blanco tequilas are aged for up to 2 months or not at all, Reposados are aged for 2 months up until 1 year. 818 Tequila Reposado is produced from 100% Blue Weber Agave, cooked first in brick ovens for 40 hours, before being finely crushed, fermented, and double distilled in pot stills. Finally, the 818 Reposado is aged in French oak barrels for 2 months to a year before being bottled and delivered to us in the UK with a care and quality that does not go unnoticed.
