Guyana 2007 celebrates the Guiana dolphin, a playful sea mammal commonly found off Guyana’s shores. Very sociable fast swimming, lively, and very agile, Guiana dolphin performs impressive acrobatics like what is inside the bottle!
Bottled at 51% ABV, Guyana 2007 is a blend of rums, resulting of one-week fermentations distilled in three historic stills: the Port Mourant double wooden pot still, the French Savalle four-column metal still and the Enmore Wooden Coffey still.
It also owes its personality to a double ageing process, a distinction that is the signature of Plantation Rum. First matured for thirteen years in 200-liter ex-bourbon casks in the cellars of Demerara Distillers Limited, the rum then made a long sea voyage to France, where it was further aged for two years in the Southwest of France, in 350-liter French oak casks.
