Penelope Bourbon, a pioneer in experimental craftsmanship, brings its revolutionary single-barrel Project X to the UK to celebrate the British Bourbon Society's 10th anniversary. Penelope Project X is crafted with 95% rye whiskey, in a new oak char heavy toasted barrel and finished in Maple Brûlée casks from Tonnellerie Moreau in Quebec. Expect caramel candy, red apple and nutmeg on the nose; vanilla, toasted nut toffee and fruit on the body, and layered vanilla, seasoned oak, spice and subtle crème brûlée on the finish. This exclusive barrel pick was hand-selected by a panel of three from the British Bourbon Society, alongside Allen from Gerry's , especially for the anniversary event. Limited release 120 bottles
