Elegant aromas of citrus, pear and white flowers, and a crisp, mineral palate ideally suited to seafood.
Previously Beauvignac Picpoul de Pinet, the Luvignac is made in an identical way. It is essentially the same wine with a different label.
palate.
A beautifully gold straw yellow hue, fine bubbles, a bouquet of floral and fruity aromas, ripe and thirst-quenching on the palate, with a superb taste of brioche.
This Franciacorta Brut from La Romantica is made only with Chardonnay grapes slightly aged to add structure and complexity to the wine, without overpowering the fruitiness and freshness of the grape and can be drunk on its own but also accompany fish courses.
Franciacorta is the Italian response to Champagne, a classic method sparkling wine, even though there are plenty more classic method, which involves the secondary fermentation in the bottle, sparkling wines made in Italy.
The Royal British Legion’s Centenary
Created to toast the centenary of the Royal British Legion.
The Royal British Legion was founded in May 1921 as a campaigning organisation, fighting for fair treatment of those who had given so much for their country in The First World War, and provided much needed welfare and comradeship to millions.
100 years on, the RBL continues to respond to the changing needs of the Armed Forces community, providing small interventions to life-changing and sometimes lifesaving support.
Produced as a limited-edition, this Champagne range is an incredibly special way to join us in raising a glass for the Royal British Legion in its centenary year.
A portion of every sale is donated to the charity, helping to support serving and ex-serving personnel and their families today.
This is a very attractive Blanc de Blancs, pure, distinct and clearcut. Ruinart Blanc de Blancs evolves in the mouth, fluctuating between a delicious freshness, suppleness and fullness.
The remarkable Champagne is golden yellow in aspect, with fine bubbles and persistent mousse, offering aromas of ripe green fruit and citrus giving way to a palate of white fruit with some floral notes, supported by good acidity and a long, lingering finish. Serve as an aperitif, or with scallops.
The wine is dry clean crisp and fresh
With deliciously balanced citrus and mineral flavours
Based in Sancerre, Loire Valley France
Perfectly served chilled with seafood or goats cheese or simply as an aperitif
Alcohol by volume: 12.5%
Crisp, fruity, its taste is reminiscent of the fragrance of a fruit cocktail made with apples. This particular fruity sparkling wine is the result of natural fermentation in autoclaves.
Fantastic blanc de blancs with persistent fine bubbles. On the palate mouth watering crisp lemons, pear brioche and a hint of honeysuckle. It's sexy soft and aggressive at the same time.
A sophisticated Champagne, whose quality rests upon Taitinger's skill to select the region's finest grapes, using mostly their own vineyards which gives greater control and consistent quality. The delicate Taittinger style is enhanced by using just the first pressings and basing the Cuvée on 40% Chardonnay, on average twice the percentage found in most standard Cuvées. 3 years ageing on the lees brings a complexity and roundness to the wine, making it dry, light and elegant with a fine mousse, fresh citrus fruit and subtle, weightier notes of peach and brioche; Taittinger Brut Reserve characterises the Taittinger house style.
Wonderful crisp and refreshing Sauvignon from this wine hot spot! Showing true and traditional citrus notes on the nose, inviting fresh lemon/lime and tropical fruit flavours on the palate with a long lasting fruit finish.
Bright, straw colour; distinctive bouquet of lemon blossom, with hints of exotic fruits; dry, very savoury, fresh flavour with a pleasant, aftertaste of pears and bitter almonds.
Serving suggestion: Brilliant, pale yellow, offering fresh floral aromas with strong fruit undertones & an intriguing exotic note. Light & silky on the palate. Excellent as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to rice dishes, seafood and fish.
A pure fruit driven nose, perfumed with cut limes and a hint of spirit. The wine has a perfumed honeyed palate and is intensely fruity with white peach flavours and mineral complexity. Grapes are sourced from selected prime vineyards and harvesting is by hand or machine, depending on the site. Winemaking is ‘traditional’ and overseen by Jean Michel Lihrmann – pneumatic pressing, temperature controlled fermentation, no finings and light filtration before bottling – all to preserve fruit and aromatic qualities and elegance. His philosophy is to make wines with good acidity and fruit balance.
Fashion designer Vera Wang turns her hand to winemaking, creating the Party prosecco rosé. Contained within a gleaming silver-tone bottle, this effervescent tipple is the perfect way to add some fizz to celebrations – whether the occasion is big or small, break out the glass flutes, pop the cork and let the bubbles flow. This light, crisp wine is comprised of glera and pinot noir grapes harvested from Italy’s north-eastern Veneto region and offers a lively palate of ripe strawberry and raspberry.
Gorgeous Prosecco. Not sweet but not too dry, just right. The cork has Vera Wang's name on the top and the wire holding it in place has her initials on the small tab for opening it. I bought two bottles and enjoyed the quality of the Prosecco so much that I have bought another two bottles since. Lovely as a gift if you could bear to part with it.
Slightly sweeter in style.Created expressly for mixology, Veuve Clicquot Rich is our most versatile Champagne designed to allow anyone to create their own playful drinking experience.
The effervescence is both long and lasting. The bouquet is fine and complex, strong in the aromas of dried fruits and flowers. There is an elegant harmony in the nose around toast and brioche notes. In the mouth, the wine is firm and well structured, with masses of substance and refinement.
A champagne house is judged primarily on the quality of its Brut non-vintage, which, more than any other wine reveals its art of assemblage. Powerful and complex, the Brut Yellow ensures continuity of the House style and offers an "aromatic" rare brand remembered for long.
