Whisky from both Pedro Ximenez Oloroso seasoned casks and refill ex-bourbon casks have been hand selected for their honey notes and nutty intensity.

The folks behind the marvellous Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur have only gone and create a green chile variant! The use of green chili brings and earthier, more vegetal spiciness to the flavour profile (compared the to sweetness/spice juxtaposition of the original recipe), which lends itself to being used in gin-based cocktails as well as tequila and mezcal-based tipples.

It’s a 10 year ageing process which ensures Gran Centenario Plata is a silver tequila with depth and standout characteristics which make it memorable. It’s the ageing which gives this tequila a stand out oakiness to its character, enjoyable and different. It’s slightly viscous on the palate but enjoyable so and has just a small hint of welcome peppery spice. Perfectly paired with herbal liqueurs and delicate cocktails. Smoother than your average silver tequila.

Rittenhouse Rye Whisky 100 proof is a hot and spicy offering which spends six years maturing before bottling. Vibrant cinnamon, black pepper and spicy rye are all prevalent in the nose and they lead into a medium body in which the higher proof is immediately apparent on the tongue. Rich notes of tobacco, cinnamon, clove and brown sugar blend together to create a highly spiced offering with just a touch of sweetness. Sip it slowly.

Recognisable from the Blue Hyacinth Macaw on its bottle, Doorly’s fine Old Barbados Rum is an extra special creation. Doorly’s XO is a sweet concoction of heady aromas and enticing flavours including notes of Oloroso Sherry thanks to the casks the spirit is matured in. A recipe concocted especially for naval officers and men at sea, Plymouth Navy Strength gin is intense with a high proof which takes the classic flavour of Plymouth gin to a supercharged level. A couple of drops of water will help to release the floral and citrus aromas of the drink and despite the high proof, it still has a refreshing and satisfying end.

The first line extension to the Maker's Mark range since the '50s, Maker's 46 is essentially the standard expression with added spice. This was not intended to compete with the core expression, instead it's a cousin to it, something different for those that like spicy bourbon. They add this extra dimension by inserting seared French oak staves into the barrels (with the stave profile "number 46" - thus the name). It's utterly stunning. Yet it is 47% abv . Confusing.

Released in the UK in 2014, the Mount Gay Black Barrel rum is made from single column and double pot distilled rum, though using a higher proportion of double pot distillates than their other expressions. It is also finished in heavily charred bourbon barrels before being bottled.

5 year old rum made exclusively using Fair Trade certified sugar cane from Belize and matured in Kentucky bourbon barrels before being shipped out to France to be bottled. Made by FAIR., whom created the world's first line of premium Fair Trade spirits and known for their FAIR. Vodka and liqueurs.

Fruity and sweet, Ming River Sichuan Baijiu is distilled and bottled at the Luzhou Laojiao distillery in Sichuan, China. Aromas of green apple, papaya, melon and tangy, savoury hints fill the nose, complemented by notes of pink peppercorn, pineapple, anise and hints of brine on the palate.Distilled from crushed fermented wheat.

Distilled in India using foraged Himalayan Juniper and locally sourced botanicals, Hapusa is a gin that is uniquely Indian. Hapusa is Sanskrit for juniper and it is the Himalayan juniper which gives our Gin not only its name but its untamed aroma and flavour. Found near the snow line in the Himalayas, this elusive Juniper Berry provides a beautiful structure around which the rest of our botanicals are purposefully arranged.

Blended from a combination of Coffey Grain, lightly peated Miyagikyo Single Malt and a small proportion of Coffey Malt and Yoichi Single Malt, this highly versatile whisky will please new whisky drinkers and connoisseurs alike. A complex yet approachable whisky, created to be enjoyed in a refreshing highball or mizuwari serve. Enjoy also in a cocktail, neat or on the rocks.

Glencadam single malt Scotch Whisky here that was treated to a finish in Merlot wine casks. Master distiller Robert Fleming married several select single malts aged in bourbon American oak casks from Glencadam's historic dunnage warehouses and then finished them in Merlot wine barrels sourced from Bordeaux, France. It was bottled at 46% ABV, natural colour and un-chill-filtered.

A lovely drop here from Glencadam Distillery, made by treating its Highland single malt Scotch whisky to a finish in Pinot Noir Wine casks. The whisky was initially aged in bourbon barrels before it was given a second maturation in barrels sourced from the Burgundy region of France.

Here we have a sherried single malt whisky from Glencadam distillery. It was first matured in Bourbon barrels before being transferred to quality Pedro Ximénez casks. In the Highland distillery's dunnage warehouses, this rich and sweet PX sherry has added layers of dried fruit and baking spice to malt. It was bottled without chill-filtration or any additional colouring.

Eleven years is ancient for rum, and we're dying to try this Santiago de Cuba Anejo Superior. An aged reserve from one of the best Cuban brands is always a good thing. p>

The long awaited followup to Bulleit's regular bourbon and rye whiskies - a 10 year old bourbon. Fantastically balanced, with great controlled sweetness, and a backbone of oak and spice.

Brugal 1888 was launched in 1988 to celebrate the company’s centenary and benefits from aging in ex-whisky barrels for 14 to 16 years. A portion of the blend is also aged in sherry butts and the aroma evidences this sweet sherry scent. The flavour is full-bodied and the sherry flavour remains with vanilla, toffee and vibrant liquorice notes also come through. Dry oak tannins are underlying throughout and add depth to the character of this rum.

Baked rolls and maramalade open up into juicy valencia orange notes. Orange opal fruits then follow more tangy yet silky orange notes. Super smooth kick with lashes of orange maramalade and smashed wheat with citrus zest on the finish. Dramatic vodka. Serious flavours on show here.Very well made vodka.

A 12 year old dark rum from Ron Abuelo of Panama. They age their rum in whiskey barrels, which adds a distinct vanilla sweetness. This 12 year old was launched in 2009, and is elegant, slightly smoky and rich. It was awarded a Gold at the 2009 Ministry of Rum Tasting Competition.

Award-winning additive-free tequila from Arenal, just outside of Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico. Crafted using only the finest 100% Blue Weber agave pinas, harvested at full maturity of eight years and cooked in brick ovens to honour the most traditional and purest way of making tequila. Tico blanco is rested for one-month to stabilise the flavour and give it its’ signature smooth, balanced finish. Cooked agave, citrus and vegetal notes are prominent.

Crafted in limited quantities, Daddy Rack Tennessee Straight Whiskey is meticulously produced with a commitment to local sourcing. The distillery collaborates closely with farmers within a 50-mile radius, using their corn as a foundation for the whiskey's character. This fine blend combines 80% corn, 10% rye, and 10% malted barley, which are then processed through a 72-hour sour mash. The brainchild of J. An untamed young single malt from Ardbeg, Wee Beastie has spent five years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks before being unleashed. Fresh, herbal aromas of pear, cracked black pepper, pine needles, vanilla and honey-glazed ham mingle on the nose with aniseed, green apple, leather and coffee. The palate offers notes of dark chocolate, hot tar, smoked bacon, aniseed and eucalyptus that liner in the finish.

A gin with a sense of place, being made with Isle of Wight rock samphire and Boadicea hops alongside juniper, coriander seeds, fresh lemon zest, grains of paradise, angelica, liquorice, orris and elderflower.

Jose Cuervo Reposado 1800 is a further edition to the 1800 series of tequilas from Jose Cuervo. Rested for just six months in American and French oak casks, this tequila is a bittersweet, light offering which is exceptionally easy to drink. Light coconut and vanilla flavours come through in the nose with spicy pepper and cinnamon coming through too. The taste begins sweetly, with butterscotch taking centre stage but then leading into familiar notes of vanilla and charred vegetables. 

Olmeca Altos Reposado spends a little longer being aged than other Olmeca tequilas, with 18 months in 200 litre white American ex-bourbon casks. It retains a super sweet and fresh flavour with its aroma packed full of bright fruitiness, notes of strawberry and cherry. The woody smokiness from the casks is apparent and is brought out even further when you take a sip. Slightly sweet honey comes through alongside the smokiness and the aftertaste is long, powerful and memorable.

Fantastic grain Vodka that lives up to its esteemed reputation. Silky mixed citrus zest and soft wheat unfold both slowly and smoothly on the palette.The finish is dry and clean with moments of lemon and crushed wheat; has a great length too. Big thumbs up. Grey Goose always delivers. Extremely well made vodka and well worth the money.

Trois Rivieres hides a lot of flavour in its crystal clear body. Punchy and awash with tangy notes, it is still smooth and is a great alternative choice for your classic Mojito or Daiquiri. Fresh peaches, plums and pears come through in the nose and its high ABV means once you sip you get the full depth of flavour in a single sucker punch. Despite its punchiness there is elegance to this rum and citrus and grassy notes come through to support the strength.

La Hachichera is a bewitching rum which draws you in with its intense and spicy aroma. Taking its name from the Spanish word for enchantress a dried fruit and spicy aroma is paired with subtle vanilla, cacao and menthol. This Colombian rum takes you on a journey from bitter to sweet with bitter chocolate notes leading to warm spiced cinnamon, coffee and rounded vanilla. The bitterness blends beautifully into the sweet to offer a balance worthy of much appreciation.

Resplendent in straw-yellow, Boudier’s Saffron gin places premium, luxurious saffron at its heart. Gabriel Boudier’s micro-distillery is known for the quality of its work and each Boudier’s Saffron gin batch is handcrafted using natural botanicals creating its delicately spicy character. Juniper is of course in there with notes of iris, angelica, orange peels and interesting fennel, delivering the liquorice aniseed notes which last long after drinking. The colour stands out but the flavour is even more memorable.
