Produced and distilled in the heart of Tequila, Mexico, by Fabrica de Tequilas, this reposado was made with blue agave that was cooked in autoclaves using steam for 10 hours. A special yeast is then added to the agave juices before fermentation, which lasts as long as 72 hours before distillation. Rooster Rojo reposado is subsequently double pot distilled in stainless steel pot stills, before being 'rested' in oak. Water filtered through Mexican silver is added to blend the product down to a measured 38% ABV.

Roots Kanela Liqueur is a blend of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and citrus. The brand may be new, but Kanela isn't – first being seen in Greece in the 15th century.

A London Dry Gin made with botanicals from along the traditional spice route that led back to the UK. Indonesian Cubeb berries, Indian black pepper and Moroccan coriander are all used in this gin, launched by Quintessential Brands in 2013.

A classic liqueur Kummel is a refreshing and sweet smelling drink which is packed full of flavour. Syrupy in the mouth, each sip is full-bodied and fiery, with pronounced notes of caraway, aniseed and hints of citrus and fresh peppermint. The heat gives way to a sugary sweetness which is very welcome and blends wonderfully with the deeper, spicier notes. Caraway and aniseed linger on considerably after drinking.

A bright and breezy Guyana rum, young at just 5 years old, El Dorado 5 year is one of the youngest offering from this producer. Creamy butterscotch is the leading scent when you open the bottle and it’s soon partnered with bright notes of tropical fruit and a hint of mint oil. This oily element is apparent on the palate, helping to deliver a light bodied rum which is rich in tropical flavours including fresh coconut.

Bottled straight from distillation, El Jimador is a crystal clear blanco tequila and named for the skilled men who select and harvest the agave that gives it its flavour. First introduced in 1994, El Jimador Blanco is a sweet vegetal smelling tequila which also offers up notes of fresh balsa wood. These aromas merge into flavours of pine freshness, sweet agave and notes of citrus. The peppery heat comes through in the finish and reminds you it’s a genuine Mexican tequila you’re drinking.

An original family recipe lives on in Hayman’s Old Tom. Clean and fresh in its flavours with a history dating back to the 1860s, Old Tom uses the same ten botanicals it always has. It stands out from others in the Hayman’s collection due to the intensity of the botanicals within and the addition of sugar for sweetness. Juniper and orange zest work together to introduce the drink and by the end you’ll be enjoying cracked black pepper in a clean, long finish.

Aluna Coconut is made with a combination of Guatemalan and Caribbean rums alongside toasted coconut - with a particular eye towards making a tipple with a lower sugar content than similar expressions. Pretty smashing label to go along with the tasty drink, too.

MEGA YUM! Sipsmith boys came up trumps with this one. Super silky mouthfeel with notes of lemon barley water and crushed up breakfast cereal from your schooldays. This is followed by a creamy vanilla moment before more lemon and eventually a brief hard boiled barley sugar with orange rind. Finish is  silky and leaves you with a lovely lemon barley note and a desire for more of the same.

An exceptionally crafted vintage-style absinthe created as a tribute to one of the world’s most famous pre-ban absinthes, Pernod Fils. By 1897, the house of Edouard Pernod boasted a reputation for crafting some of the best absinthe the world has ever known. At the time of the ban (in 1915 in France), Edouard Pernod had become the 3rd largest absinthe distiller in France. Lovingly crafted in the heart of London, our Variorum Gin is a pink berry edition of the original King of Soho London Dry Gin. Notes of strawberry complement the classic juniper and citrus flavours of the original recipe; a bespoke libation distilled with twelve botanicals using traditional methods. Variorum Gin, a smooth and colourful elixir: fresh strawberry and floral chamomile lead on a wave of soft juniper with a suggestion of citrus. The off-sweet palate has fruit bursting at the front before a gentle vanilla spice emerges giving a luxurious creamy feel. Strawberries and cream give way to a subtle floral tone on the finish with a pronounced tang of grapefruit.

A 20cl bottle of Jade's VS1898 Absinthe, a 'Verte Suisse' styled after the top quality spirit of the late 19th century. This has been reverse engineered from a bottle made at the C.F. Berger distillery before it closed in 1910.
