Immediately open and expression on the nose with notes of blackcurrant, aniseed and cinnamon. The palate shows good structure, concentration and a long-lasting finish. Great ageing potential, and perfect accompanied with char-grilled cuts of meat or rich tomato based dishes.
The perfect fruit and wood blend, which enhances its aromatic intensity. Composed exclusively with Tempranillo from vines 15 years old, fermented at 23 ° C. Aged for five months in oak barrels ripened in the bottle a minimum of five months.
The grapes were harvested by hand and placed into small cases of 12 Kg for careful transport to the winery where they undergo a cold pre‐fermentation maceration for 48 h followed by controlled alcoholic fermentation at 28º C and back‐fermentation. They then undergo lees maceration for 18 ‐ 20 days followed by racking and tasting.
