Showing well right now, with notes of black cherry, black currant, milk chocolate, and tobacco commingling throughout. There's a healthy dose of oak too that straddles the line but never quite takes over. Surprising freshness, with welcome acidity. This is solid.

With a couple of awards under its belt El Dorado 3 Year rum is a fine example of a mixing rum which a crispness that lends itself to sharp citrus cocktails and even exotic punches. Coconut is ever-present from first opening and hints of sugary sweet icing sugar are also apparent in the nose. On drinking El Dorado is surprisingly dry with notes of intense brown sugar, a nutty edge and of course that coconut coming through strongly. The end note blends vanilla with the coconut for a fresh finish.

Tesla Sljivo is 100% natural plum brandy and lives up to that label. Distilled in Croatia, this is an authentically traditional Eastern European drink. The tell tale plum flavour lasts from nose to finish and intertwines with a vanilla sweetness and cinnamon spice. There is a slight sharpness to the alcohol, which can also be heavily detected on the nose, but this works well with the plum and creates a sharp yet smooth expression.
