Very exciting stuff here, folks! This is the first single malt whisky from the Cotswolds Distillery (as well as being the first single malt whisky ever distilled in the Cotswold countryside!). A much-anticipated release, which has been produced using barley grown in the Cotswolds, distilled in their Forsyths copper pot stills (Mary & Janis) and aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and red wine casks. We've been eagerly awaiting this whisky, and we know plenty of you have been too!

Bumbu Rum is based on a recipe dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries, used by pirates and merchants as a better-tasting alternative to the grog the Royal Navy served its men. This modern interpretation takes sugarcane from eight Caribbean countries before distilling at the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados. The rum is matured in former bourbon casks for up to fifteen years and blended with all natural native Caribbean spices and pure Bajan water filtered through the coral limestone rocks of the island. No artificial flavours or colours are added. On the nose, aromas of banana are prominent, with cinnamon and vanilla sweetness. To taste, the mature rum and natural spices bring a rich complexity. Sweet and smooth, a big hit of vanilla is followed by orange peel, banana and mango. Subtle fresh herbal notes and a touch of dry tobacco come through with the spices making this an excellent spiced sipper.

The distillers who brought us Hendrick’s beloved cucumber and rose gin have hit on another great innovation: quininated gin. By infusing their spirit with quinine and wormwood, Hendrick’s have created an complex and intriguing drink that pays homage to what is often mixed with gin: tonic and vermouth. The quinine and wormwood flavours are rounded out by blue lotus blossom, which adds bright floral notes to the mix.

By 1897, the house of Edouard Pernod boasted a reputation for crafting some of the best absinthe the world has ever known. At the time of the ban (in 1915 in France), Edouard Pernod had become the 3rd largest absinthe distiller in France. The Edouard Pernod label was considered by many absinthe connoisseurs to be one of the finest marques, certainly on par with the famed Pernod Fils, A. Junod and Fritz Duval

Jameson Caskmates is an intriguing release. Having sent some of their casks to the local craft stout brewers at Franciscan Well, the casks were returned to Midleton where they were subsequently used to give a stout finish to Jameson! We tasted it before it was available in the UK when we visited Cork just before St. Patrick's Day 2015, and we know that some of the fine folk at Irish Distillers were worried that it may be seen as a bit of a gimmick. Perhaps to an extent it is, but more importantly, it works - a worthwhile experiment that's produced a unique and interesting Irish whiskey.

The 54% is hidden in the chocolate notes, which brings warmth to this 12-year-old Panama rum. Nose: Heavy dark chocolate, hot cream, and touches of citrus. Palate: Almost like mini muh chocolate and with notes of cocoa. This rum is marked by the casks with a bit of orange, but the chocolate notes outshines the most of it. Country: Panama Age: 12 years

Single Barrel Tennessee Rye Whiskey draws its wonderful flavour from a unique 70% rye grain bill, matured to perfection in our handmade oak barrels, positioned in the upper reaches of our barrelhouses. Ilegal Reposado is a 100% agave mezcal-style tequila which has the rich, sweet flavour of roasted agave. The aroma is thick with smoke and woody notes, peppered with notes of chilli and a flavour which is massively hot and spicy yet somehow creamy in the mouth. Buttery notes meld with vegetal sweetness to offer a combination you wouldn’t expect to work, but it does! That smoky flavour never fades and enhances every other flavour.

A Bolivian grape brandy produced in collaboration with film maker Stephen Soderbergh, as he travels the world looking for examples of "exceptional human endeavour". Singani is distilled from Muscat of Alexandria grapes in the high valleys of Bolivia and is the country's national drink, but until now has not made it far from home. Singani 63 is a clean and crisp spirit, with a touch of aromatic grape.

A deep red colour and an aroma that bursts with tangy cherry - the gin hits you quickly with big juniper flavours and a little bit of spice. Followed quickly by a velvety cherry taste at the back of your mouth and a long, sour finish. We’re enjoying ours on the rocks, but it’s also fantastic with tonic and a Maraschino cherry garnish.

The strongest vodka we have ever come across, Balkan 176 comes in a bottle with 13 different health warnings (including one in Braille), mainly because it's at 88% abv. It is produced in the Czech Republic, and is triple distilled and essentially shouldn't be drunk neat, sniffed, held or even owned.

La Chica Silver (House) La Chica Silver Tequila which originates from Mexico is a very pure and smooth tequila. It is produced traditionally from distilled cactus juice that produces a spirit of 38%abv. La Chica Silver Tequila is great to sip and savour or ideal as a shooter, in a Margarita or other cocktails.

The classic golden tequila, Jose Cuervo Gold has a distinctive flavour that stands out against the crowd. Lovingly crafted in the heart of London, our Variorum Gin is a pink berry edition of the original King of Soho London Dry Gin. Notes of strawberry complement the classic juniper and citrus flavours of the original recipe; a bespoke libation distilled with twelve botanicals using traditional methods. Variorum Gin, a smooth and colourful elixir: fresh strawberry and floral chamomile lead on a wave of soft juniper with a suggestion of citrus. The off-sweet palate has fruit bursting at the front before a gentle vanilla spice emerges giving a luxurious creamy feel. The Maritime Gin is an infusion of botanicals with 5 different types of seaweed, all locally sourced. Some of the botanicals are dried and others blast chilled, with the more delicate placed in Méabh’s vapour tray. Some of the ingredients are so unusual, harvesting can only take place when there is a full moon, with the foraging at times extremely hazardous, as the tide means everything.

From the Domus range comes another intriguing Grappa - this time, the spirit is made using the Nebbiolo grape and has been matured to help develop its flavour profile. Nebbiolo grape are the core of all brilliant Barolo wines, but do they make great Grappa? Absolutely! Roasted apricot, walnut, dry cinnamon, juicy prune and a touch of brandied cherry.

Salto are a relatively young company based in Brazil with fresh new ideas on their countries national drink, this version is blended with Gurana berries from the rainforests of Brazil.Serve with ice & maybe some ginger beer.

One of three rums released as part of El Dorado's Single Still series, this 2009 Guyanese rum has been made using the Enmore wooden column still. Matured in oak casks for 12 years, it offers notes of smoked hazelnuts, caramel apples, coconut flakes and milk chocolate throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.
