Great rhum agricole from Guadeloupe's Damoiseau, the XO expression spends at least 6 years maturing in ex-bourbon casks before being bottled at 42% ABV. You'll want to try this served neat, or perhaps over ice, though we reckon some classic rhum agricole cocktails would benefit from its full bodied flavour profile.

An aged agricole rum from Damoiseau, the Millesime 2009 was produced in Guadeloupe and bottled after seven years of rest in American oak barrels. This is the 'raw' version of the 2009 vintage agricole, bottled at a warming 66.9% ABV.

A highly commended malt which offers wonderful value for money and exceptional flavour, this 15 year old Dalwhinnie lets its simple yet effective flavour notes do the talking. On the nose it’s all about aromatic toffee, sweet nectarine, apple blossom and just the slightest touch of smoke. When it comes to the palate you can reveal in malty walnut depth, sticky manuka honey and that gentle smoke weaving into the midst. Simplicity at its best.

Six different types of wooden cask are involved in the making of this exception King Alexander III offering from The Dalmore. With influences from Madiera, Marsala, Kentucky bourbon, wine, port and sherry casks, this truly is a complexly developed malt that stands out. Daddy Rack Tennessee Straight Whiskey comes from J. Arthur Rackham. An individual who has spent more than 5 decades working in the alcohol industry. Leaning on what’s described as purity and flavor nuances, all barrels chosen for Daddy Rack are aged for a minimum of three years, then blended by Rackham to produce a smooth yet cask strength Tennessee whiskey. Daddy Rack’s whiskey is made with Grade 1 locally-farmed corn, sour mash fermentation and lightly rectified copper double distillation. It is also filtered using Lincoln County maple charcoal slow filtration before aging in new American oak barrels.

Jose Cuervo 1800 Silver Tequila is a premium silver tequila that slightly plays against the rules of tradition by resting, rather than aging, in an American oak barrel for up to 15 days after distillation, just long enough to take on a dash of colour and a slightly oaky body of flavour. Sporting the freshness of a traditional silver, the flavour deepens a bit, getting a bit spicy toward the end, and definitely savoury. Enjoy any way you like, mix up or take on the rocks, but note that the cap also doubles as a shot glass, so you might as well have a go.

The Cotswolds Distillery in Stourton is up and running - hooray! This is their Cotswolds Dry Gin, made with juniper, coriander and angelica root macerated in their pure wheat spirit for 24 hours. Following this, they add a botanical selection including bay leaf, grapefruit, lime, black pepper, cardamom seed and Cotswolds lavender to their carter head still for distillation. To bring it down to bottling strength, a robust 46% ABV, they use naturally refined Cotswolds water.
