The gin itself is distilled in Lincolnshire, and boasts almond, blueberry, liquorice, cardamom and sea buckthorn among the botanicals. This is a gin with a cause, and for every bottle sold the producers will donate £1 to the Stonewall Charity, which campaigns for the equality of the LGBT community across Britain.

The Kyoto Distillery, the city's first dedicated gin maker, has fast become recognised for its fastidious attention to detail. Its second release, Ki No Tea, has been meticulously created to the same exacting standards. The limited edition expression is the result of a partnership with noted tea grower and blender Hori-Shichimeien, which was founded just to the south of Kyoto in 1879.
