Brown sugar, light spices and dried currants and raisins are prominent on the palate and the flavour remains sweet and mellow from beginning to end.

Appleton Estate 8 Year Rum blends together 20 different rums to create a dark sugar concoction which is intensely enjoyable. The sugary nature of this Appleton offering is tempered by warm honey and despite the seeming sweetness it is sharp on the tongue with a satisfying hit of citrus peel and caramelised apple. Caramel and hazelnut flavours come through on tasting and this one rum that should be enjoyed neat.

Havana Club Selección de Maestros is a uniquely created triple barrel aged rum which has a distinctive red glow. Toasted pecans and deep spices fill the nose and this woody character continues in the mouth feel. Round and buoyant the palate is tantalised and teased by the zesty candied sweetness this rum offers yet tempered by warming toffee, tobacco and mild brown spices. A balanced flavour which allows the intensity of oak to help build its unique profile.

Classic French aperitif. Waves of honeyed tropical fruit and glace cherries with smashed sauvignon grapes and floral notes. Starts out sweet and moves into a dry zesty almost zingy finish.

Metaxa 5 Stars is the result of a secret recipe developed in 1888 blending together plump Attica grapes and sweet grape spirits.
