A traditional gin distilled in Hammersmith, Sipsmith’s brings together ingredients from around the world. Its juniper is Macedonian, its coriander Bulgarian and its almonds and liquorice are sourced from Spain. Juniper and coriander take centre stage in the traditional gin and zesty citrus comes through later with a hint of spice. Liquorice comes through in a final flourish and lingers in the mouth.

A classic Barbadian rum, Planteray 5 Year Old benefits from ex-bourbon cask barrels and Cognac barrels used in its maturation process. The flavour this delivers is unlike any other rum and gives its nose an intense leathery profile with spicy cinnamon and aromatic coconut too. On tasting Plantation 5 is surprisingly sweet with clear notes of molasses and that leathery depth from the scent. Salted butter and allspice add a distinguishing finish and ensure the fire remains strong to the last drop.
