Located in the heart of the Minervois appellation, this vineyard is cultivated entirely using organic methods by a couple of environmentally conscious winemakers who strive to optimize the quality of their fruit. The grape varietals planted reflect the typical Mediterranean style, with Grenache and Syrah taking centre stage.

Rich, warm red fruits on the nose with hints of dried herbs, this is a wine with a great sense of place and is one of the few reds that pairs brilliantly with cheese. Ageing in French oak barrels (20%) for 12 months adds spice and structure and the wine finishes with a fresh cherry note and light tannins, making you want another sip. "Vines planted in 1998 in the north-facing Kali Vrysi vineyard at 4,000 vines per ha and an elevation of 200–300 m. Picked 24 September at a yield of 36 hl/ha. Fermented in tank with malolactic conversion and ageing for 12 months in oak barrels (20% new).
