A famous and award winning Spanish liqueur, Licor 43, as the name suggests, brings together 43 different ingredients. Ricard Pastis is a uniquely produced aperitif which brings together three separate ingredients blended perfectly together with neutral alcohol and caramel to create a rich, intense flavour. One of the most famous triple sec style liqueurs around Cointreau is the first choice ingredient for many citrus cocktails and the recipe has been perfected to the point where it’s simply a must buy for many. On the nose is fresh and tangy, orange oils coming through thick and fast and unlike other bitter-led triple sec style liqueurs Cointreau is intensely sweet leading into a dry finish. Nutmeg and lemon come through in the finish too.

Pineau des Charentes is a sunny liqueur wine with a soft fruity fragrance. For the last four hundred years, it has been the special guest at Charente tables, as an apéritif but also with desert. According to legend, Pineau was born following the 1589 grape harvests. A winegrower put grape must into a barrel and then realised there was still some eau-de-vie at the bottom. Annoyed by his mistake, he put the barrel in the corner of the cellar and forgot about it. When he opened the barrel a few years later, he discovered an astonishing beverage of yellow-golden colour. Its clear texture, honey taste and fruity notes seduced this Monsieur Pineau, who named the liquor wine after himself. The Pineau des Charentes was born.
