Tesla Sljivo is 100% natural plum brandy and lives up to that label. Distilled in Croatia, this is an authentically traditional Eastern European drink. The tell tale plum flavour lasts from nose to finish and intertwines with a vanilla sweetness and cinnamon spice. There is a slight sharpness to the alcohol, which can also be heavily detected on the nose, but this works well with the plum and creates a sharp yet smooth expression.

Stock 84 is a Czech-made brandy that was originally produced in the beautiful town of Trieste in north east Italy. Obtaining its name from the year it was created (1884), the brand is known for being mellow and smooth.

A Bolivian grape brandy produced in collaboration with film maker Stephen Soderbergh, as he travels the world looking for examples of "exceptional human endeavour". Singani is distilled from Muscat of Alexandria grapes in the high valleys of Bolivia and is the country's national drink, but until now has not made it far from home. Singani 63 is a clean and crisp spirit, with a touch of aromatic grape.

Remy Martin VSOP Mature Cask benefits from a precise maturation process which involves placing the eaux de vie in specially selected Limousin oak casks that are more than 20 years old. These casks allow the fruity notes of the blend to be enhanced further and it’s a wonderful cognac which can be enjoyed over ice or as a key flavour in a sophisticated cocktail. Apricot and peach take centre stage with notes of rose and sweet vanilla following after.

A bottle of Calvados containing a 'captive apple'. Each carafe is suspended from the branches of apple trees in the springtime before the first apples appear. The apple then grows inside the carafe. When the fruit becomes ripe, the carafe is removed from the tree with the apple captive inside. The bottles are then filled with young Calvados at 70% which allows the apples to settle down and stabilise before they are refilled with Calvados. The apples inside the bottles then gently macerates inside the Calvados filled bottles. The visually-attractive bottles make excellent gifts. Best consumed as a digestif and enjoyed at room temperature.

One of the smoothest brandies on the market, Metaxa 7 Stars is an intense and warm fruity drink which offers intense notes of flavour delivered by the sun ripened Muscat grapes of the Aegean islands. Hennessy XO was created by Maurice Hennessy himself 1870 and was initially reserved for the maker and his friends only, a mark of its excellence. Rich and robust, Hennessy XO has a deeper amber colour than your regular cognac, due to its long maturation process and the hand-selected barrels used during this. Around 100 eaux de vide work together to create the rounded, bold flavour which is characterised by rich black pepper, a touch of spice and dry and candied fruit.
