Located in the southern Beaujolais, Brouilly is one of the most well-known and geographically widespread vineyards in the region. The vines here flourish on a steep slope composed of diverse types of soil and rock, but which are predominantly pink granite ("gohr") based. TASTING This Brouilly Roche Rose has subtle aromas of wild cherry, blackcurrant, and blackberry with a hint of spice. The perfect fruit and wood blend, which enhances its aromatic intensity. Composed exclusively with Tempranillo from vines 15 years old, fermented at 23 ° C. Aged for five months in oak barrels ripened in the bottle a minimum of five months. The grapes were harvested by hand and placed into small cases of 12 Kg for careful transport to the winery where they undergo a cold pre‐fermentation maceration for 48 h followed by controlled alcoholic fermentation at 28º C and back‐fermentation. They then undergo lees maceration for 18 ‐ 20 days followed by racking and tasting.
