Maraschino Luxardo is a classic Italian liqueur and is presented in its traditional way, straw covered bottle and all. The clear hues hide a flavour which is simply bursting with marasca cherries and a typically pungent aroma in which the cherries seem to invite you to take that first sip. Smooth on the palate initially, leading into a sharpness which is short lived but satisfying. It’s the aroma of this one which will have you back for another sip, lingering long after tasting.

Combining the same classic ingredients for nearly 200 years, Angostura bitters are a key ingredient in many famous cocktails, often paired with gin and rum to great effect. Despite the name, its flavour is not bitter at all, with the strong aromatic flavour, powerful with gentian and spices. Many cocktails simply wouldn’t be the same without a dash or two of Angostura bitters and it’s the complex herbaceous nature of the product which allows it to offer additional depth and dimension to cocktails.
Another market leading cognac, Hennessy’s rich and full-bodied flavours strike a special balance which makes it so popular. Bright and fruity from first opening, Hennessy also has undertones of oak and once in the mouth flavours of nutty grilled almonds and a hint of fresh grapes are released. Tones of red berries and vanilla follow and ageing of a minimum of 2 years helps bolster the intense smoothness of the drink.
