Jose Cuervo Silver 1800 is a 100% agave tequila which rests in ex-American whisky casks and benefits from the depths of both the oak and the whiskey flavours coming through. Chargrilled vegetables and celery notes come through in the nose which then leads into a flavour which allows the agave to take centre stage. The guys from Ben's Canteen in London have made a gin! Handcrafted from a small copper still in the bar area of Ben’s Canteen in London, in addition to juniper it contains honey and oranges, as well as 10 other botanicals. The Wandsworth honey represents living and working in London, while the oranges represent holidaying and dreaming in Mallorca – as, so we're told, the eponymous Ben often likes to do. Garnish with a slice of orange and a sprig of lavender.

Made a traditional copper pot still in Cheshire, Broken Clock vodka was inspired by Leon Kuhajewski's 1816 invention of the first astronomical watch. Infused with slow-ripened apples from Shandy Hall in Coxwold, Yorkshire, Broken Clock is a sweet, herbaceous vodka with notes of apple and cinnamon crumble, and freshly-mown grass.

Made using Muscat wines that have been selected from the Samos region in Greece and brandy, Metaxa 12 Stars is a tasty Greek brandy with a full palate of chocolate, orange peel and floral notes.

Spring water clear and aromatically fruity, Tosolini Cividina Grappa is robust and awash with the fresh flavour of grapes. Distilled in Northern Italy in traditional copper stills, there is a Slavic and Austrian influence due to the region of the distillery. With sweet brandy undertones mixed with the pomace of the grapes, Tosolini Cividana Grappa has a mellow flavour which marries wonderfully with aromatic notes and the sweetness of grapes throughout.

The Warner Edwards distillers in Northamptonshire have brought us another flavour of excellent gin - they have been prolific since their start in 2012. This time, they've gone regal and created Rhubarb Gin, , as well as their Harrington Dry Gin. They also add just enough sugar to balance out the acidity from the rhubarb, producing a spirit with plenty of sweetness and some subtle, enjoyably sour notes emanate from the rhubarb.

Aalborg Taffel is a classic Aquavit, released in 1846. It has a lovely caraway, citrus flavour, and was heralded as Best Aquavit in the World at the 2002 International Wine and Spirit Competition.

astis d'Antan Combier is a traditional sugar-free pastis. This anise-flavored spirit contains many other plants and spices such as coriander, clove, cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Part of the new core range of whiskies launched by Isle of Jura in early 2018, this 10 year old expression takes the place of Jura Origin. It's initially aged in American white oak bourbon barrels before enjoying a finishing period in Oloroso sherry butts and bottled at 40% ABV. It has the subtle smoke characteristic of Jura's excellent Island single malts, with robust vanilla and an intense kick of sherried sweetness underneath.

Produced in Armenia, Ararat Akhtamar is a 10 year old brandy with a rich, fruity flavour. The brandy is made with a selection of wines and pure spring water. Nose: Sweet, spicy nose. Hints of vanilla and plum jam. Toffee and a little potpourri. Palate: Rounded, creamy palate entry. Notes of sultanas and creamy vanilla. Dried apricots. Finish: Cinnamon and toasted oak. Regular tipple of the Late Winson Churchill....

All the way from Melbourne, Australia comes Starward Left-Field, a fab single malt whisky that was designed to be enjoy... Well, however you fancy enjoying it! A rounded and flavoursome expression, having matured in Australian red wine barrels, Left-Field shows off generous helpings of dried fruit, maple syrup, and baking spice notes. Enjoy neat, with a mixer, splash it in a cocktail – it's a versatile whisky suitable for all sorts of serves!

Kohaku No Madoromi Shochu is a classic example of a traditional shochu made with 85% sweet potato and 15% rice, and is rich, bursting with undergrowth aromas, velvety on the palate, and delicately sweet in the finish.

A classic Barbadian rum, Planteray 5 Year Old benefits from ex-bourbon cask barrels and Cognac barrels used in its maturation process. The flavour this delivers is unlike any other rum and gives its nose an intense leathery profile with spicy cinnamon and aromatic coconut too. On tasting Plantation 5 is surprisingly sweet with clear notes of molasses and that leathery depth from the scent. Salted butter and allspice add a distinguishing finish and ensure the fire remains strong to the last drop.

Bacardi is best known for their world famous white rum but here Bacardi 8 Year Old is an intense, red-gold offering which is exceptional when added to spiced cocktails or enjoyed neat. The aroma is awash with buttery caramel, orange marmalade and banana leaf notes which lead to a medium bodied flavour which allows sweet Demerara sugar, apricots and gingerbread to take centre stage. Butterscotch and vanilla notes linger throughout with just a touch of nutmeg spice finishing it off.
