Four Roses Original is one of the most popular offerings from the Four Roses collection and is considered a bar essential for many cocktail maestros. Sophisticated and smooth hints of pear and llow Labeapple come through alongside floral aromas and a flavour which is deep in honey and spice. Its soft finish is simply begging to be mixed in with other flavours to create cocktails of real class and refinement.

The vodka originally used in Douglas Ankrah's infamous Pornstar Martini and a one of the best vanilla vodkas available on the market. Cream soda and lush vanilla pudding notes spin around on your tongue wrapped in soft ripe lemon. The body is medium to full and the kick is clean and soft with a creme anglais note. This stuff really is outstanding and does real well when kept in the fridge. Drinks wise, flavour combinations are endless. to start off try it with chilled freshly pressed apple juice with a few squashed up blackberries. YUUUUMM!

Tannic mango and apple notes at the kick off. Lemon and overipe mango follows this with undercurrents of soft tropical fruits. There is sharpness midway that throws you a bit until the sweet lemon and mango finish with a sharp passion fruit flavour ties it all in at the end. Great with Um Bongo! Seriously! Try it. MEGA YUM! Sipsmith boys came up trumps with this one. Super silky mouthfeel with notes of lemon barley water and crushed up breakfast cereal from your schooldays. This is followed by a creamy vanilla moment before more lemon and eventually a brief hard boiled barley sugar with orange rind. Finish is  silky and leaves you with a lovely lemon barley note and a desire for more of the same.

One of the best Vodkas in Europe at the moment with a release of just 4,000 bottles per year. Complex and dense body; starts with soft sweet winter wheat followed by a nutty note and finally a complex dryness that flaunts the rye with a peppery note on the end. Tremendous stuff. DO NOT FREEZE THIS VODKA . It's too damn good.

Del Maguey Vida Mezcal is 100% organic and made by hand. This extra care and attention delivers a natural flavour, unblended and surprisingly complex. The flavour is worth the wait as its packed full of spiciness and a welcome herbaceous depth which supports the key flavour of roasted agave. Team it simply with ice or with lime or add it to a classic tequila cocktail.

The third of Patrons triumvirate of exceptional tequilas, Patron Reposado has a complex and distinctive flavour profile. Smooth from the first sip, you can taste the smokiness of the oak used in the maturation process and light fresh agave also comes through quickly. As the flavour builds you’ll enjoy notes of citrus and smooth honey, leading to a sweet and short aftertaste of honeyed vanilla and citrus zest.

Patron Anejo is treated with the same delicate nurturing process as a good wine. Uniquely aged tequilas are wonderfully blended together and each individual tequila is matured in its own small white oak barrel before combining. It has warm amber tones and a woody aroma with notes of raisins and vanilla. The flavour is smooth and sweet on the palate with the woody and vanilla notes coming together strongly and a hint of sweet honey coming in. The smoothness of this tequila makes it perfect for mixing and creating cocktails.

Jose Cuervo Reposado 1800 is a further edition to the 1800 series of tequilas from Jose Cuervo. Rested for just six months in American and French oak casks, this tequila is a bittersweet, light offering which is exceptionally easy to drink. Light coconut and vanilla flavours come through in the nose with spicy pepper and cinnamon coming through too. The taste begins sweetly, with butterscotch taking centre stage but then leading into familiar notes of vanilla and charred vegetables. 

Jose Cuervo Anejo 1800 is an exceptional offering for one of our favourite tequila distilleries. Aged for over a year and selective French oak casks, each bottle of this tequila has been prepared to perfection. The aroma is rich in roasted coconut, toffee and a woody floral depth. This leads into a flavour which is equally woody, with the spice coming through in the form of cracked black pepper. The end note is dry yet immensely satisfying, wonderful for sipping at leisure.

Gran Centenario Anejo spends 18 months maturing in American oak barrels and despite a light flavour you’ll definitely be able to pick out those toasty wood notes. Wonderfully enjoyed over ice or as a shooter, Gran Centenario Anejo allows the taste of cooked agave to take centre stage. An earthy depth and cinnamon spice add to the character of this tequila and the flavour builds to a hot, spicy end which is intensely satisfying.

Tapatio Blanco is one of those choice silver tequilas that has an exceptional flavour which you’ll find hard to stop sipping. The pepperiness of this tequila is really up there with the best, apparent from first opening in the nose where it’s combined with earthy hay and subtle herbal tones. The flavour too is awash with earthiness with the sweetness of agave paired naturally with cinnamon, charred vegetables and sharp hits of black pepper. The end is satisfyingly salty with that earthiness remaining.

One of the premium offerings from the famous Patron tequila distillery, Gran Patron Platinum uses the finest blue agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco. Triple distilled and then rested for a short time in oak tanks, Gran Patron Platinum is wonderfully smooth and full-bodied. The nose is full of that fresh agave teamed with citrus and fresh fruit and the flavour follows suit with the agave taking centre stage, citrus and fruit following on. Its finish is long and spiced with white pepper.

Olmeca Altos Plata has been described as the perfect choice for a margarita and its 100% agave content delivers a satisfying sweetness. On opening its white pepper, sea salt and vegetal notes which come through strongly, with agave in the background. This changes when you taste as the viscous feel on the palate is full of sweet agave, notes of lime, nutmeg, salt and hot white pepper. Balanced sweetness and spice is what makes this tequila worth trying.

One of the newer offerings from the famous Jose Cuervo range, Jose Cuervo Reserva da le Familia Blanco is an exceptional new silver tequila. Limited edition, hand signed, hand dipped and corked, each bottle of Reserva Blanco is highly sought after and it’s easy to see why. The strength of quality agave comes through in the nose, closely followed by charred vegetables and hints at linseed oil. The flavour keeps the vegetable notes alive but teams them with fresh pear and of course the sweetness of agave. Pepper only comes through towards the end but it strong and satisfying.

Herradura Plata is a smooth silver tequila, aged for just 45 days and offering up a welcome cleanliness on the palate. The ageing means that there’s a hint of oak in the flavour but its key note are refreshing agave which is enhanced by tangy citrus. The strength of the agave flavour makes this a fantastic choice for your next margarita and the light heat underlying the key flavours is a wonderful reminder of the quality of this tequila.

Arette Blanco is a premium silver tequila, launched in 2007 and highly thought of on the drinks scene. Bottled on site in Jalisco and made of 100% agave, Arette Blanco is an exceptional silver tequila full of fresh flavours, spicy hints and a cheeky character in which you can pick out each single flavour note.
