Made by distilling whole Christmas Puddings made according to Ian’s Great Aunt Nellie’s recipe. San Cosme Mezcal is a stylish example of a traditional mezcal which has an extremely rich flavour, due to its non-chill filtration process. Seven Tails Brandy The inception of Seven Tails in unique, Cognac, Armagnac and the finest French brandies aged 3-30 years are aged in oak barrels then finished in port wood casks to achieve a rich depth of flavour encompassing tasting notes of praline, dried fig and toasted vanilla.

The creation of master blender Alex Thomas, The Sexton Single Malt Irish whiskey is made from 100% Irish malted barley, triple distilled in copper pot stills. After, the liquid is aged in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks imparting a rich and fruity character. It comes in a rather eye-catching hexagonal bottle, too.

While Canadian whisky is often a showcase of different grains, Signal Hill focuses instead on casks. The distillery takes corn and malt spirit and ages them in three types of cask – ex-bourbon, ex-Canadian whisky and new oak. The three casks bring out different aspects of the whisky's character – vanilla and toffee notes, sweet grain and oaky spice respectively – creating a flavoursome and well-balanced whisky.

24 botanicals are carefully chosen for their uniquity , that work together in unison to afford a romantic , complex flavour. Fresh floral and clarifying citrus notes are grounded by earthy and spicy cassia bark and cubeb , and a smooth finish is achieved with the help of local honey.

A grand rum from the Philippines, produced by Tanduay. This expression spends five years maturing in bourbon barrels, developing a flavour profile rich in creamy vanilla and fruit. It's filtered before being bottled, removing some of its hue (though not its flavour, luckily!). Great for cocktails and mixed drinks.

A Bolivian grape brandy produced in collaboration with film maker Stephen Soderbergh, as he travels the world looking for examples of "exceptional human endeavour". Singani is distilled from Muscat of Alexandria grapes in the high valleys of Bolivia and is the country's national drink, but until now has not made it far from home. Singani 63 is a clean and crisp spirit, with a touch of aromatic grape.

An award-winner with additional sloe , what’s not to like? Sipsmith’s London Dry gin has been combined wonderfully with fresh hand-picked sloe berries at the height of ripeness. The end result is the rich and luxurious sloegin which simply bursts with fresh fruit flavour. Redcurrant and winter fruit aromas are released on opening and on tasting cassis and hints of warm cherry come through, offering a rounded flavour which benefits from a velvet smooth mouth feel and balanced sweetness. The clue’s in the name – Very Junipery Over Proof, Sipsmith’s have created a juniper lover’s dream. Firmly in the driving seat of this aromatic gin is juniper, its pine-driven aroma released on opening and mingling with cedar wood. The taste too is very heavy on the juniper with rich spices supporting and even notes of dark chocolate. The heavy juniper flavour tapers off to a fine balance in the end which is long, dry and ultimately satisfying.
