An African craft gin from Procera, distilled in Nairobi with 10 botanicals, all sourced from across Africa, including Madagascan pink pepper and Moroccan orris root. However, the most important botanical here is a relatively unseen species of juniper, Juniper Procera (most gins use Juniper Communis), also known as African juniper as it only grows in the highlands of Kenya and Ethiopia. This different variety gives the gin a nuttier, earthier backbone. After distillation, the gin is bottled into stunning hand-blown bottles, also produced in Nairobi. A truly unique gin.

Sweet Agwa, a liqueur which marries together an array of tempting herbal flavours, offering a distinct and enjoyable flavour. Agwa’s key ingredients are Bolivian coca leaves, Brazilian guarana and Chinese ginseng which work together to offer a herbal, minty scent followed by a thick, syrupy mouthfeel awash with spicy notes, sweet menthol and the depth of the herbaceous ingredients. An absolutely cracking American whiskey from the Boondocks range, helmed by Dave Scheurich, former master distiller of Woodford Reserve. This expression is made with a combo heavy in corn, along with helpings of rye and malt, and matured for 11 years before bottling. It's not quite a bourbon, as it was distilled to a higher strength than allowed for bourbon (which is 160 proof, or 80% ABV), and matured in used charred white oak bourbon barrels (rather than brand new ones).

A cask-strength version of the Boondocks 11 Year Old, aged in American oak and notable for its soft mouthfeel and harmonious balance of earthy, spicy flavours. Sample the malty corn cereal, milk chocolate and leather which is typical of this Kentucky distiller.

Boondocks 6 Year Old is a straight bourbon whiskey, aged in port barrels. It has flavours of vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, dried fruit, cinnamon and nuttiness and comes at a strength of 45% ABV. This is a rich and easy to sip bourbon of delightful sweetness.

From Boondocks, in Bardstown Kentucky, comes this exceptional straight rye whiskey. It’s been made according to the laws passed in the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897, which means 50% ABV, four years aging, and that it’s been made entirely at a single distillery, in a single season.

Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin is made in a small distillery in Yarra Valley, Australia. Everything the Four Pillars distillers make is based around their four pillars - the still, the water, the botanicals and love. It's sort of a bit like the four elements of hip hop. Pillar 1 - The Four Pillars copper-pot still is called Wilma. Pillar 2 - The water they use from Yarra Valley is triple filtered. Pillar 3 - They use some local botanicals (Tasmanian pepperberry, lemon myrtle), some exotic botanicals (cinnamon, cardamom, coriander seeds and star anise) and some classic botanicals (juniper, lavender, angelica root), as well as whole oranges to give Four Pillars Gin its flavour profile. Pillar 4 - The distillers love what they do and love what they have made. It all adds up to a vibrant Australian gin which stands out in cocktails, but tastes just superb neat.

Koko Kanu is named to pay homage to the Jamaican Arawak Indians and its flavour is light, fragrant and heavily inspired by the ever-popular coconut. This rich coconut flavoured rum has a sweetshop aroma and the baked flavour of the coconut macaroon comes through on tasting. Hints of icing sugar and cocoa build as the flavour’s complexity develops and it’s as the lingering finish ends that you get an enjoyable spicy hit.

A rye-based gin from Finland's Kyrö Distillery, Napue's botanicals include meadowsweet, sea-buckthorn and cranberries. Crisp and refreshing with a spicy pepper note, too.

A cracking Kentucky straight rye whiskey from Wilderness Trail, based upon a mash bill of 56% rye, 33% corn, and 11% malted barley to ensure a well-balanced and rounded profile. It was matured for a minimum of four years on the upper floors of the distillery's rickhouse before being bottled in bond.
