The folks behind the marvellous Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur have only gone and create a green chile variant! Award-winning additive-free tequila from Arenal, just outside of Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico. Crafted using only the finest 100% Blue Weber agave pinas, harvested at full maturity of eight years and cooked in brick ovens to honour the most traditional and purest way of making tequila. Tico blanco is rested for one-month to stabilise the flavour and give it its’ signature smooth, balanced finish. Cooked agave, citrus and vegetal notes are prominent.

Jose Cuervo Reposado 1800 is a further edition to the 1800 series of tequilas from Jose Cuervo. Rested for just six months in American and French oak casks, this tequila is a bittersweet, light offering which is exceptionally easy to drink. Light coconut and vanilla flavours come through in the nose with spicy pepper and cinnamon coming through too. The taste begins sweetly, with butterscotch taking centre stage but then leading into familiar notes of vanilla and charred vegetables. 

Olmeca Altos Reposado spends a little longer being aged than other Olmeca tequilas, with 18 months in 200 litre white American ex-bourbon casks. It retains a super sweet and fresh flavour with its aroma packed full of bright fruitiness, notes of strawberry and cherry. The woody smokiness from the casks is apparent and is brought out even further when you take a sip. Slightly sweet honey comes through alongside the smokiness and the aftertaste is long, powerful and memorable.

Teremana is the brainchild of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, a premium tequila created in a quaint Mexican town nestled in the highest peaks of the Jalisco Highland mountains. Jose Cuervo Silver 1800 is a 100% agave tequila which rests in ex-American whisky casks and benefits from the depths of both the oak and the whiskey flavours coming through. Chargrilled vegetables and celery notes come through in the nose which then leads into a flavour which allows the agave to take centre stage. Batanga reposado Tequila is produced at the Casa Orendain, which was founded all the way back in 1926! It's distilled using 100% agave, harvested from the Orendain plantation and fermented with yeast which is locally produced at the distillery from a recipe which is over 80 years old. Batanga is named after the eponymous drink created in the 1950s, which is a simple recipe of Tequila, cola and lime juice. We're sure the Tequila itself wouldn't go amiss in one of those!

Hijos De Villa Tequila Blanco Gun was created to commemorate the anniversary of liquor Veracruz. Intense flavour with hints light sweet agave

Rooster Rojo is produced using only the best ingredients and techniques. Rooster Rojo Anejo is made with Blue Agave, they used the Fabrica de Tequilas method, where you cook the Piña for 10 hours in autoclaves. After this, a special yeast is added to the Agave, just before fermentation. Rooster Rojo Anejo is double distilled in stainless steel pots and then aged in oak barrels. Finally, water that is filtered through Mexican silver is added to the drink, bringing it down to 38% ABV.

Produced and distilled in the heart of Tequila, Mexico, by Fabrica de Tequilas, this reposado was made with blue agave that was cooked in autoclaves using steam for 10 hours. A special yeast is then added to the agave juices before fermentation, which lasts as long as 72 hours before distillation. Rooster Rojo reposado is subsequently double pot distilled in stainless steel pot stills, before being 'rested' in oak. Water filtered through Mexican silver is added to blend the product down to a measured 38% ABV.

El Jimador Reposado is made from mature blue agave and spends two months resting in American oak barrels. Golden hues escape from the bottle thanks to this process and the flavour mellow yet rich with toasted agave at the forefront. Almond, vanilla and baking spices create an aroma to draw you in and then they also prop up the agave flavour with additional sweetness. Smokiness comes through at the end and is a welcome addition to the sweetness.
