Ruby Port is a blend of young Ports from different harvests. They are especially blended to have robust fresh fruity aromas and flavours. With lush berry flavours, hints of pepper and spices, an excellent accompaniment to cheese, nuts or desserts, especially Chocolate based. A characterful ruby may be slightly chilled.

Graham’s LBV has attractive liquorice and floral aromas, and fresh blackberry flavours. It also, like the Six Grapes, has hints of the native Gum Cistus plant, which grows around the vineyards in the Douro, imparting very subtle aromas of mint to the wine. Its rich concentration of ripe fruit is balanced by the added complexity of spices, all held together by superb structure and balance.

Ricard Pastis is a uniquely produced aperitif which brings together three separate ingredients blended perfectly together with neutral alcohol and caramel to create a rich, intense flavour. Liquorice root, green anise and fennel are the three ingredients which deliver the traditional and complex flavours of Ricard. There’s a grassy edge to this pastis which helps it stand out from the crowd and it also has a minty citrus freshness which balances against the warm, liquorice tones.

Gabriel Boudier Crème de Fraise is a fresh and fruity liqueur which brings together the flavour of a range of different varieties of strawberry. The strawberries are macerated with neutral spirit to allow their flavour to do the talking and it comes out in a sweet and enticing strawberry shortcake flavour when you take a sip. The sweet strawberry flavour blends with brown sugar to create a fresh baked flavour and hints of freshly made jam. LABEL MAY VARY.

The King’s Ginger liqueur is a medium-strength aromatic drink which is produced through the careful maceration of ginger root and the addition of warm and aromatic lemon oil. The flavour is rich and intensely spiced with ginger and a golden syrup-like thickness. The bite of ginger and tartness of the lemon make this a drink which hits the palate with a bang but soon mellows and becomes extremely satisfying.

The unique recipe with an ABV of 24% includes many extracts and infusions of Mediterranean citrus: oranges, bergamots, bitter oranges, chinotto, tangerines and grapefruits. This fresh blend of citrus fruits makes our Galliano L’Aperitivo stand out. The recipe also includes a subtle addition of the heart of Galliano L’Autentico, (the original botanical liqueur with over 30 herbs and spices) including Mediterranean Anise, Juniper, Cardamom, Sandal Wood, Sage, Lavender, Peppermint, Cinnamon and Vanilla.

Vineyard Notes The grapes, selected from low yielding vines, come from the areas of Carcassonne and the Minervois, in association with Celliers Jean d'Alibert. Winemaking Notes The two varieties were vinified separately. Both went through a period of cold soak. fermentation on skins lasted 2 weeks prior to pressing. There was very limited use of press wine. Tasting Notes The blend of rich blackcurranty Cabernet and brambley, gently peppery Syrah makes this a very distinctive wine. The vanilla character of the oak is present but subtle, and the tannins are softer than in many Cabernets. A very luxurious drink; silky and satisfying. Food Style Good with a range of red meat dishes, but its soft fruity character makes this an attractive wine to drink by itself.
