Rowan’s Creek is an exceptional small batch bourbon from the same people who produce Noah’s Mill. Smooth and rounded in flavour, Rowan’s Creek has been aged for 12 years and is simply waiting to be opened and enjoyed. Medium-bodied the flavour is rich with orchard fruits, a hint of lemon and sweet, succulent honey. There are floral notes in there and a velvety smoothness that’s pepped up by only a hint of spice. Satisfying and mellow.
Smooth Ambler's Big Level has been hotly anticipated - it's a lip-smacking wheated bourbon that was produced entirely at the distillery in West Virginia. While previously expressions released by Smooth Ambler have been sourced from elsewhere or have been whiskey made in-house blended with whiskey from further afield, this is all whiskey crafted by Smooth Ambler's hands. It's made with a mashbill of 71% corn, 21% wheat, 8% malted barley, and is aged in 53-gallon barrels with a #4 char for at least 5 years.
Wild Turkey 101 has been aged for eight years at a much higher proof than they’re traditional bourbon. This delivers a more intense, alcohol-heavy nose but also a deeper, more complex flavour. You wouldn’t know it from the nose as it’s light and unassuming but once you sip you’ll taste the depth of sweetness within this bourbon alongside the toasty alcohol burn. Pepper, caramel and honey are stand out flavours in this intense bourbon and it’s certainly one to remember.
The legendary flavour of Wild Turkey bourbon has been brought out in a new and exciting style with the addition of the sweetest honey. The smoothness is even silkier than before if you can believe it and though we recommend drinking it neat, you could pop it into a creative cocktail. The caramel depth of the traditional bourbon flavour blend together with the rich honey creating a truly delightful warmth and this is further enhanced by bright floral notes and oaky spice.
A full-bodied and balanced bourbon, at once fresh, sweet and smoky, with a rich and rounded mouth, Longbranch is a collaborative effort between Wild Turkey Master Distiller Eddie Russell and the brand's Creative Director – award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey.
Longbranch has been refined using charcoal from both Kentucky white oak and Texan mesquite in a nod to both mens' home states, and the bottle bears the signatures of both Russell and McConaughey in a nod to the spirit in which this bourbon was made – that of friendship and partnership.
Wild Turkey Rare Breed is an exceptionally enjoyable, stand-out bourbon which brings together a range of flavours. Blending together 6, 8 and 12 year old bourbons creates an intensity of flavour you won’t forget and it’s a wonderful bourbon to serve on ice or chilled. Classic toffee notes open the drink and orange comes through too with vanilla striking intensely as you take that second sip. Spiced oak and bitter chocolate partner each other wonderfully to create the body of the flavour and draw out a long and satisfying finish.
Woodford Reserve is a very specific combination of corn, rye and malt creating a cereal-rich flavour. It’s unusual as its triple distilled and matured for six years, creating a smooth yet punchy flavour which is perfect for bringing out the best in your next Old-Fashioned cocktail. Thick and creamy both in aroma and taste, notes of honey, deep spice, fresh leather and cocoa come together to create a flavour you won’t be able to forget. Toast oak spice is your main reminder of the drink when you finish.
Now known as Mayor Pingree Bourbon, Woodward is a four-year-old whiskey from Valentine Distilling Co. in Michigan. A blend of triple-distilled spirit from the distillery with some from Lawrenceburg, this is classically rich and sweet.
An American whiskey from Wood's High Mountain distillery in Colorado, made with a combination of malted barley, malted rye and malted wheat, and aged in new American oak barrels. The label has a rather fine moustache, which is cheering .
Tuthilltown Spirits had the honour of producing the first legal pot-still whiskey in New York since Prohibition - Hudson Baby Bourbon! Made using 100% New York corn, the Tuthilltown folks mature the spirit in tiny 2 gallon barrels and treat it to some music. This isn't simply to entertain the whiskey as it sits stoically in a warehouse, the bass speakers agitate the cask and liquid, impacting the flavour!
This is a 70cl bottling.

With Legent, we finally get to see the results of the merging of Beam and Suntory in liquid form. This is a fun east meets the west bottle. Legent is a result of years of collaboration between Fred Noe, Jim Beam Master Distiller, and Shinji Fukuyo, Suntory Chief Blender. It’s an effort of uniting a master blender and a distiller from two different worlds.
It began with Fred distilling the bourbon in Kentucky. Shinji visited Kentucky to taste the barrels throughout the aging process. Once the whiskeys were ready to be blended, Shinji stepped in with his blending expertise..
The whiskey has a caramel colour with a beautiful deep golden hue. Baled hay and pumpkin seeds on the nose with subtle notes of ripe stone fruit and caramel corn. Bold and spicy upfront then mellows with sweet caramel and maple, like biting into an oatmeal raisin biscuit . The finish is long and rich. It lingers pleasantly sweet on the palate with notes of vanilla after the spice dissipates.
