The traditional Malat winery has been making wines in the region since 1722. An amaro from Nonino, a family-owned company who have been distilling since 1897, Quintessentia is made with herbs and grape eaux-die-vie, aged in Nevers, Limousin and ex-sherry oak.

Well, this is definitely somethng different. Billed as an alternative to fresh lemons and limes, Supsasawa is a fascinating amalgamation of distilled water (which seems pointless, but it does remove a lot of impurities), citric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, succinic acid, phosphoic acid, a little bit of sugar and a touch of salt. The end result is a completely clear liquid with no aroma whatsoever, and zero alcohol. It seems fairly unassuming, until you touch a drop to your lips, which then explodes into a blaze of sharp citrus.

The perfect fruit and wood blend, which enhances its aromatic intensity. Composed exclusively with Tempranillo from vines 15 years old, fermented at 23 ° C. Aged for five months in oak barrels ripened in the bottle a minimum of five months. The grapes were harvested by hand and placed into small cases of 12 Kg for careful transport to the winery where they undergo a cold pre‐fermentation maceration for 48 h followed by controlled alcoholic fermentation at 28º C and back‐fermentation. They then undergo lees maceration for 18 ‐ 20 days followed by racking and tasting.

A rich, floral Cognac from Sazerac de Forge et Fils, Finest Original is inspired by the very first Cognacs made by Bernard Sazerac de Forge. WhistlePig is a fantastic brand of straight rye whisk(e)y which is distilled and initially matured in Canada before being aged further, at the WhistlePig Farm in Vermont. The Master Distiller for WhistlePig was Dave Pickerell, who was the Master Distiller for Maker's Mark for 14 years, Sadly now deceased. Their 10 year old straight rye is made with 100% rye and delivers a full-on flavour profile of clove, mint, barrel char, creamy caramels and butterscotch. Properly excellent stuff.

Pineau des Charentes is a sunny liqueur wine with a soft fruity fragrance. For the last four hundred years, it has been the special guest at Charente tables, as an apéritif but also with desert. According to legend, Pineau was born following the 1589 grape harvests. A winegrower put grape must into a barrel and then realised there was still some eau-de-vie at the bottom. Annoyed by his mistake, he put the barrel in the corner of the cellar and forgot about it. When he opened the barrel a few years later, he discovered an astonishing beverage of delicate rouge colour. Its clear texture, honey taste and fruity notes seduced this Monsieur Pineau, who named the liquor wine after himself. The Pineau des Charentes was born.

Young and sprightly, Patron Silver is the youngest of their tequilas and its flavour reflects its youth.
